In 1810, weaver Jean-Pierre Peugeot started the Peugeot factory with his sons. From 1882, bicycles were also produced under the name Cycles Peugeot. They were already early sponsors of cycling. For example, in 1896 Peugeot supported Peugeot and Paul Bourillon, who became world sprint champion in Copenhagen on a Peugeot bike. In 1901, the manufacturer sponsored its first cycling team. Peugeot also sponsored the first Tour de France winner in 1905 - Louis Trousselier. Peugeot remained active in cycling until 1986 and is considered one of the most successful sponsors in professional cycling. Many great cyclists rode in the Peugeot cycling jersey.

The first layer is a breathable, comfortable fabric (Lycra) that can be worn directly against the skin. In the RedTed performance chamois, this layer is slightly widened so irritation in the groin area is less likely. The second layer is a body-contoured elastic silicone anti-shock pad with laser perforation and channels for sweat wicking. The third layer is again a breathable fabric. The shorts are extremely comfortable and offer excellent freedom of movement. At the leg openings, there is a wide elastic band with a silicone grip. This, together with the suspenders, ensures that the cycling shorts stay perfectly in place.
